Bahrain Justice and Development Movement is pleased to support a protest taking place on Saturday in London “In Solidarity with Bahraini Prisoners”.
We call on all those who care for Bahrain to join us outside the Bahrain embassy (30 Belgrave Square, SW1X 8QB London, United Kingdom) from 2pm on Saturday 14th July.
The protest will march to the Saudi embassy and will feature speeches from:
Tariq Ali (Author of The Duel: Pakistan on the Flightpath of American Power, and The Obama Syndrome)
Peter Thatchell
Lindsey German (Stop the War)
Jeremy Corbyn (MP of Islington North London)
John Rees (Stop the War)
Yvonne Ridley (Journalist: If not overseas)
Amin Kubba (Activist)

With the latest crackdown on pro-democracy protesters and the sentencing of Nabeel Rajab, it’s all the more important that people join the protest and show their opposition to the brutal treatment of the people of Bahrain.
2 weeks ago, the Bahraini Minister of Interior visited London and other regime officials enjoy a strong relationship with the UK. This shows the need for us to make our voice heard that the people of Britain will not be silent on the crimes of Bahrain.
Below is a video created by the organisers of the protest.
